Depending on the age of your older guy, he may have grown up in an entirely different decade than you did. As a result of the age difference, he may like different music, books, movies and television shows. Your interests may be completely different, and the two of you may have a difficult time connecting on a shared activity. Just because you're younger, it doesn't mean that you need to be schooled by your guy. Some older men feel that they have more knowledge about life based on their experience, and they spend too much time trying to mentor their partners instead of actually being in an equal relationship.

If your older guy only dates women who are twenty-five or younger, then you need to find out exactly why this is the case. Eventually, you won't be twenty-five. Will he stop dating you at that point? If you think that your older guy is just constantly trading in for a new model when it comes to women, then this should be a big area of concern for you.
